The Foothill Suzuki Strings is a group music instruction program, designed to supplement private lessons from a qualified Suzuki Method String teacher. Our program incorporates the diverse talents of its four founding members and includes students from their individual studios, as well as students from the greater inland area. Our student family ranges from preschool to senior citizen, and includes players of all ability levels.

Suzuki group instruction is designed to reinforce playing skills taught in the private studio, as well as provide an enjoyable and motivating social experience. Our program also includes a musical literacy component. This rounds out a student’s musical scope and adds a breadth of experience often not available in the private studio environment.

Suzuki groups are inclusive by nature. We welcome you to visit our classes held most Thursday evenings at the UCC Church near the village area of Claremont.
