This is for Bill Alpert.
I understand that you might know the whereabouts of Claire Hodgkins. It was through her and her mentor (Boris Sirpo) that I was introduced to the joys of violin as a child in Hood River, Oregon. I have lost track of Claire over the years, but would like to let her know that I owe her a debt of gratitude for introducing me to Mr. Sirpo, and the violin. I am still active with my instrument, and playing in our local Symphony as well as doing many pit orchestra jobs in the area. A distant cousin of both Claire and myself (Ginny Annala-Smith) gave me the information to contact you.
Thank You.

I like what you're doing here, Bill.
The Fiddlesticks system looks like a great way for a young violinist to learn. I wish my daughter had had something like that when she started violin without a private instructor at a young age. Would have been quite helpful.

Regards,
